Individuals SwedenHe was one of the two who were injured the most severely by the attack the 25th November and despite the efforts of the highly-qualified medical personnel, his life could not be saved.

- "The Swedish Armed Forces are once again grieving after the tragic event the 25th November. My thoughts go to the family and his colleagues who have suffered a great loss," says Lieutenant General Jan Jonsson.

Tomas Bergqvist's closest relatives have asked to not become objects for the media's attention with regards to what has happened. In respect to their wishes, the Armed Forces will only publish the name, age, and a photo.

Individuals SwedenJesper was a man with a great sense of humor, who had a passionate love for parachuting, and also enjoyed collecting art and antiques. But he was also a very experienced SSG operator. This is how friends describe Jesper "Bosse" Lindblom, the soldier who died after Friday's attack in Mazar-e-Sherif, Afghanistan.

"Bosse was a person who spread happiness. Just by his way of being, he would make the life of everyone in his surrounding more enjoyable. "He will leave a huge void behind him," said a colleague.

Jesper Lindblom grew up in Skövde where he was a promising junior in track and field. In 1996, he began his military service as a group chief at the Coastal Ranger School in Vaxholm. He was quickly liked by his comrades and was known for his liveliness and energy.
