    Antonio,
I would just like to say thank you to you and your fellow soldiers who were also killed in that blast for your service and sacrifice for Italy and the Free World in the Fight against terrorism. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

    A grateful American

I am an American soldier who is currently serving in IRAQ. I was deeply touched amd moved by the photo of seven year old Martin Fortunato touching his Father coffin for the last time. In the 29 years of being a professional soldier I still cannot come to grips with the loss of life that has been shed for freedom, but I know that we cannot have our freedom without a cost. Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being and this little boys Dad paid the ultimate price. For that I salute this soldier, father and husband. As well as all that had died during that period.
